Preparing for Tax Time

To help us get you back the most money  we need you to do some things through the year:

1.)  Keep records of your finances.  Record your transactions in a program like Quicken or Money.  It will not only help you plan for the future but it will let you see where your money came from.

2.)  Collect all of the tax statements that are mailed to you.  Not just your wages but forms from your mortgage, your bank, your insurance company, your stocks and more.

3.)  If you make charitable gifts you can only get deductions of you can present receipts for your gifts.  Make sure you get them when you share your kindness.

3.)  Make sure the social security number that you give us is accurate.  You don't want someone else getting credit for your financial history.

4.)  Allow plenty of time to go over your financial records.  There are a lot of things that you could qualify for to get breaks on your taxes.  The better we understand you and your financial life the better we can work for you.
